On July 11, 2019, the ‘Voices of SDG16+: Stories of Global Action’ campaign was featured at a side-event during the 2019 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York. Voices of SDG16+ is a collaborative video campaign showcasing civil society SDG16+ implementation work from around the world, featuring best practices and innovative initiatives being undertaken towards SDG16+ at the national and local levels.

This campaign offers a platform for grassroots voices to be heard at the HLPF as well as to connect with one another, showing how civil society can help drive forward concrete commitments to advancing SDG16+. Out of the 150 video submissions received from civil society around the world, the campaign chose 13 finalists to feature at the HLPF event and sponsored representatives from these organizations to come speak. The video submissions from the finalists can be viewed here and full event notes can be found here.
