Tbilisi, Georgia – Today, in a historic moment, six Ministers of Justice and Labor came together during the 2018 OGP Summit to discuss how to drive access to justice and legal empowerment through the Open Government Partnership (OGP).

During the session, the group committed to setting up a justice coalition within the OGP and to promote more commitments on Legal Empowerment in National Action Plans ahead of the HLPF in 2019.

The meeting included Minister Etilda Gjonaj, Minister of Justice, Albania; Minister Artak Zeynalyan, Minister of Justice, Armenia; Minister Mila Carovska, Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Macedonia; Minister German Garavano, Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Argentina; Minister Tea Tsulukiani, Minister of Justice, Georgia; and Minister Suren Krmoyan, Deputy Minister of Justice, Armenia.

This is a big step towards ensuring that governments promote grassroots access to justice and legal empowerment. #TipTheScales towards #JusticeForAll.
